We are offering a $1000 scholarship for a student from a National Farmers Union in NB family who will be pursuing a degree or science program in agriculture. Students can use the David Frost Memorial Scholarship form to apply.

The scholarship winners will be announced at the NFU Region 1 meeting in the summer of 2012. Funds will be awarded in mid-January, upon successful completion of the first semester of study and commencement of the second semester. A transcript from the first semester will be required. Academic standing, school and community involvement, and financial need will be taken into consideration by the selection committee.

Congratulations to last year’s winners: Harris Bakker of Killoween and Andrew Givskud of Drummond!

The David Frost Memorial scholarships were established by the NFU in NB in 2010 to honour the memory of the David Frost, a respected agrologist who passed away in March, 2010.
