In December 2016, the NFU -NB made a submission to the Government of New Brunswick’s Pre-Budget Consultation. The submission focused on investments in the Local Food & Beverages Strategy, rural infrastructure, proactive climate change programs, support for new farmers such as access to daycare assistance programs, and the importance of extension services through the Department of Agriculture.
